Digital spatial soil information service
The DOSoReMI.hu (Digital, Optimized, Soil Related Maps and Information in Hungary) initiative aims to renew the Hungarian Soil Spatial Data Infrastructure by rethinking the framework for the production and service of soil spatial data at national level.
Through our portal, we publish nationwide digital soil property and more general soil related maps in a structured way.
- The maps are freely browsable. The thematic content can be zoomed and displayed with variable transparency, and two selectable base map backgrounds help to navigate in geographic space.
- Maps can be downloaded in an edited image format. They are recommended for use in text material (papers, studies, teaching materials, etc.) or as illustrations in lectures.
